Class Materials for March 27, 2014 The Patriot Movement

Today we'll be looking at how this

became this

and this

became this

and this

became this.

Some stops along the way include this guy, Sen. Joseph McCarthy,

 this group

and how to live after the bomb.

A few moments before the country changed forever.

Did the bullet do this?

Or this?

Also questions, like did this

lead to this

There's also books, like this guide on how to overthrow a government.

Or this odd book,

Is responsible for this TV show.

and what do you make of this?

And a friendly reminder

Class for March 20, 2014 Patriotism

This is a patriotic landscape

This is not.

Here are some more patriotic landscapes

And a couple more non-patriotic landscapes.

Some more symbols of patriotism.

The flag.

An eagle.

The Declaration of Independence.

The Constitution.

The Liberty Bell.

The Capitol Building

The White House

The Lincoln Memorial

 The Statue of Liberty

Columbia

and of course, Uncle Sam

For most children every school day begins with the pledge of allegiance.

Here are some videos of the pledge in action.

In high school (not lack of enthusiasm).

America also has more patriotic songs than most countries. Here's a small selection.

I'm exhausted.....
